Arthur's Easter Activity Book : With Reuseable Stickers!
Published in Paperback by Little Brown & Co (Juv Pap) (February, 2002)
Author: Marc Brown
Average review score:

fun activity book for Arthur and D.W. fans
Over fifty stickers can be used and reused on glossy scenes of the family kitchen, Arthur's classroom or a local park. Activity pages include coloring, word search, mazes, matching, a crossword, hidden pictures and a lesson in how to draw Arthur. There's also an answer page. Lots here to keep an Arthur or D.W. fan busy for a while, and a nice introduction to various puzzle types.

Stickers depict many characters from Marc Brown's series as well as Easter-themed objects. Very nice.

Author: Marc Brown
Average review score:

a really great book
Original Reviewer : Tommy Bruzina I liked it because it was funny, because DW played a trick on the boys, then the boys made a trick of their own to scare DW. Arthur had a fun time on his sleepover.

Artist to Artist: Inspiration & Advice from Artists Past & Present
Published in Hardcover by Jackson Creek Pr (November, 1998)
Author: Clint Brown
Average review score:

Artist to Artist
A beautiful selection of short quotations from artists -- lessons learned, inspiration, know-how, observations, ruminations, history -- well-organized by subject, presenting overall an artist's way of comprehending her/his work and this world. This is an enjoyable read and a lovely book for anyone (including this reviewer, who works as a lawyer) who would like some daily inspiration from the deeper levels of human being, seeing, comprehension and creativity. It is not a book that one "finishes". It is to be picked up again and again. Also a fine gift for anyone who is a thoughtful artist, (e.g. also gave one to my 21-year-old nephew in college.)

Beautiful and fascinating book
Brown County is a place I dearly love. Midwesterners flock to Brown County to enjoy the beauty of nature and of art. This book celebrates those artists and their spirit. Anyone who loveas art, nature, or spirited adventurers will appreciate this book. The book is beautiful and makes a wonderful gift(if you can bear to part with it).

Arthur Teaching Trouble Reading
I think the book is great because sometimes you win and sometimes you loose. I love winning. I love the end. D.W. was so funny. She really made me laugh.

Translation. Me gusto mucho el libro porque a veces uno gana y a veces uno pierde. Me gusta mucho cuando gano. D.W. fue muy chistosa. Me hizo reir mucho.

At Home With God: Family Devotions for the School Year
Published in Paperback by Upper Room (May, 2002)
Authors: Anne Broyles, Sue Downing, Paul Escamilla, Elizabeth Escamilla, and Marilyn Brown Oden
Average review score:

Great Family Devotional Guide
I've read through At Home with God and will use the material with my school-age children. As a single parent, it is hard to find ways to spend devotional time with younger elementary kids. Too much is going on and I'm tired at the end of the day, but this book's premise is based on my scenario--and the ways all families operate today! We'll be able to pick up the book, turn to the day's devotional, read it together, do the suggestions, and enjoy ourselves as a little church.

The devotions are biblically based. They explore the Bible instead of delving into complex or ridiculous theological discussions (such as how many angels can dance on the head of a pin).

I'm looking forward to having faithfilled fun with my children.
